For 2oo years Japanese peasant farmers have crafted Kokeshi, made from spare wood.

Today, our Kokeshi collection is entirely handcrafted from Chestnut, Dogwood, Cherry and Keyaki using sophisticated lathe techniques. Each is individually boxed with the Japanese name and English translation card enclosed.
